The payment didn’t go through
Polar couldn’t take the payment, so nothing was charged and no licence was created.
What usually helps
- Check the card number, expiry date and billing postcode.
- Some banks hold the first payment to a new shop. Approving it in your bank’s app usually clears it.
- Try another card or payment method. Taxes are added at checkout, so the total can be above the list price.
Where is my licence key?
It is in the email from Polar, sent to the address you used at checkout, and on the receipt page.
If you can’t find it
- Search your inbox for “Polar” and check spam or Promotions.
- Just paid? Polar takes a few seconds to create the key. The activation page keeps checking for about 20 seconds on its own.
- Keys and receipts are also in the Polar customer portal.
